Preorder trial linked to account?

Hey all

just curious to those who have the preorder if the 10 day (or however many days) trail thing is linked to the same key as the factions account? Basically I already have Proph. but was wondering if i pre-ordered if my buddy could use the trial, and i would still be able to link my Proph Account with the Factions one?

the trial key is excacly what it says... Trial, for you to give away or to use if you havent played Prophecies yet.

Give it to your friend, have him make a GW account, and use that trial key.

Ahh cool, my confusion came from them not actually saying the trial was a seperate key.

"A key that provides access to the Factions Preview Event on March 24th"

Certainly a seperate key, As opposed to:

"A 14-day, 10-hour trial of Guild Wars (original Prophecies campaign)"

yea, doesn't say exacly how you can use the Trial. But I'm very sure that you can use the trial with any account, with a faction preorder key or not, why whould they limit it? Besides, if it doesn't work, you can call up Anet and tell them they where misleading, and you want your money back for preorder :P

Yeaaah not a big deal either way I suppose, as I want the game anyways. Just trying to decide if its worth hunting down one of them cute lil boxes.
