Buying Guild Wars gold

Hey sorry if this question has been answered before [I searched for it, probably didn't search hard enough as the chances of this topic being made is pretty high, anyways..] but I was wondering if it is against Guild Wars rules to buy Guild Wars gold.

When I was browsing a couple of sites I saw that they had over 1000K gold for sale, so I was thinking there is no way they earned it in the game, they must have bought it off Guild Wars to resell. But then again, I remember reading some rules and remember seeing something about it being against the rules to buy Guild Wars gold.

So my question is, buying guild wars gold: allowed or no?

I'm pretty sure it's against the EULA or whatever

Supposedly, the act of purchasing Guild Wars gold online is an illegal operation, as the End Users Liscense Agreement suggests.

There are several sites that are up, and selling gold quick. How they are still running, I do not know.
