Wow, that's almost as bad as my first guild and the second one that I made myself, lol. You are missing out on so much fun for GW it's not funny. Leave that guild right away and search for one that has voice communication. That's key, if you're just someone who likes to type, that ain't gonna cut it for a good guild.

Labtop Speakers? If you're going to be communicating through voice means, you should be using a headset, which sound goes through an ear phone, not speakers
The biggest and most stupidest thing that people do which kills off guilds is this...
person logs on..... hmmm, noone on-line.... log off..
few hours layer..
another person logs on... hmmm, noone on-line.. log off..
next day, a third person logs on, hmm.. noone online, i'll leave it a few days.. log off...
and for the simple reason that noone STAYS ON LINE, everyone misses each other and eventually people dont bother playing guildwars at all...
Your guild isnt that bad!.. there just needs to be someone online when these people log on!
Your obviously an officer in your guild so it depends if you want to help revive the guild, or if you want to goto another, more active guild and simply be a member!
Yeah, i was in your position for over a week till yesterday. The guild leader had gone off to play WoW, and hadn't been on for a couple of weeks, as well as an officer. Because of that, another officer left, and only me and another in the guild really came on. We thought we might be able to keep the guild up because we were both officers, and we could get new members, and so on, but a leaderless guild loses morale.
We just left the guild and started a new one yesterday because we got fed up of waiting for him to get fed up with WoW.
I was in a guild way worse than that, and I revived it. I joined as a member, and helped out otehr members. Later, I got promoted to an officer, and did a lot of recruiting. Then, I got promoted to LEADER. We were super active, now we are taking a slouch right before Factions. I hope Factions revives us, if not, I will sak a few officers and get some new managment.
If you are in the guild with folks you have enjoyed playing with and feel its worth trying to save you should try, otherwise.... Start organizing events and such to try to get folks on at the same time. The inactivity level shows that there is a core of about 8 still playing, but you'll want to try to bring them together. You can use the guild announcement thing to get it out even without a forum. Forums and TS/vent are key tools though for having a lively guild I think. With a lil prompting folks may even respond quickly.
If this has been tried, yeah well what everyone else said.
Man.. find a guild with a kick policy.. many are doing this..
if the officer are inactive for more than a week they shouldn't be officers (unless on vacation for that tenture)
If your leader is gone with out notice for more than a week that is a sign to leave because you have poor leadership to begin with.
My guild kicks after three weeks, if you had a family issue or something you're given the chance to post on the forums and request back in.
but most give notice that they are leaving for an extend period of time.
Officer are demoted after two weeks of non activity and kicked at three like any other member.
Guilds need rules and structure. Find one that has those and you'll be happy, or at least a little better off.
