Screenshots of Dyed Ascalon Bows?

Has anyone tried dyeing an Ascalon Bow? I have recently acquired a 15^50 Recurve-equivalent from a collector and put some decent mods on it, and now that weapon is my pride and joy. I have very little money, and whatever dyes and dye-combos I tried on it ended up being extremely ugly. I tried the famous YSSS combo trying to get it white, but it ended up as something yellowish-black.

Basically, the weapon dyes really horribly. Has anyone had any better luck?

I got mine from either Southern Shiv or Desert(15%^50%hp) dyed silver, looks blackish.( i think i saved a couple plat by accident )

I had 20 [yes, 20] mineral short ascalons a few months ago, I'd dye them all with a dye remover + green dye combo. It'd make for a nice jungley green [the green was sort of stained on there]
