Server switching w/ Factions merged with GW

I'm down to my last switch(1 move left) and if i move, im stuck there.

Question: When we merge both our GW:P and GW:F accounts together, will our switiching 'tickets' be renewed?

What im probably thinking, is probably not, but who knows?

I hope this is the case, best to send a note to A.net Support and ask them, and if you do post here so we all know.

I moved to the American servers due to the UK ones being dead at the time, but I'm thinking of moving back. The counter is holding me back however.

I know the official view is that they wont provide any more transfers as its not a game feature (or something)

But when you buy Factions... it being a full game and coming with its own 5 transfers (presumably)

if you merge these accounts together what happens to those transfers?.. you give them up??, they are deleted, what ?

They SHOULD transfer those transfers onto the ACCOUNT. But ArenaNet dont seem to share the publics opinion on merging accounts.

Its like with the Personal storage issue, if you merge your accounts then its seems you get a very bad deal..you lose TWO character slots AND a full storage box, AND (I suspect) you will lose your 5 free server transfers. All just so that you can take your characters to each world.

seems like a bum deal to me, and a very expensive one.. its one of the few issues that I REALLY do think ANET sucks on.

Um, those only wanting to change territories was to exploit favor, nothing more. This is why we have international districts, server renewed? Yes and no.

"nothing more" ???.. well your obviously flat wrong, I went to US Servers once as there were more people there to trade with...

I also speak to people in international disrticts who went to US because the guild they wanted to join was US based..

People transferd to US because English was more widley spoken than in the EU..

I settled back down in EU because my guild were mainly UK based and I wanted to make a UK only guild and not pick up americans who never played with us because of the time difference...

exploit favor... lol

Even so, its hardly an 'exploit' to go over to one JUST for favour because to begin with EU RARLEY had the favor,.. so if you were someone who went to USA JUST for favor then you would have stayed there, because at the time, the only other people getting favor where Koreans! and you cant even transfer to there!

Eu has obviously picked up a GREAT deal more now, as we dont know how Factions will effect the EU or the US servers.

For example it maybe that that americans play Kurzicks more than Eu does, with their alliances hold these 'elite places' more often, ... people will become VERY loyal to their side, therfore people may or may not wish to transfer.

It would be very un-fair that people who wish to merge their accounts are DENIED these choices over someone who DOESNT merge!

Why else do you think they made it so you can switch servers in the first place?.. what incase you made a mistake?... 5 times??
