Does each arrow hit give you the + life benfit? If so you'd be stealing life so fast, it could make a huge difference. Any Ranger experts out there know?

Thanks!

I think that's the exact reason why every ranger should have a 5/-1 bow with them at all times (for example Elswyth's recurve, which can be bought for less than 5K at the moment) even if they don't like to use one as their primary weapon. If a group of enemies huddles around your team's tank, whip out the vampiric bow and start barraging (provided you have Barrage equipped, of course).

Vamp bows are popular in B/P Tombs groups for the added damage.

I actually would reccomend something like Drago's Vamp bow over Elswyth's recurve if you must have a green bow. This is assuming of course that you have favorable winds. Otherwise imho, a vamp longbow is the best choice. I don't do B/P runs much anymore, but I have a vamp stormbow that is excellent for the job. Even when I'm not running a barrage build, I like to have my vamp bow handy if I ever need to deal just a little more damage and can stand the life drain, especially if I have an increased attack stance active.
