I'm just curious. Could an echo-ed (arcane only if you must have that spot, which I assume you do) pacifism build contest as a counter to a spike team? I know the recharge is unattractive to say the least, but assuming you have two monks, you could knock out 4 spikers, which is quite a damage reduction.

probably not a good idea to put pacifism + arcane echo on two monks. would take up too many necessary skill slots.

Any decent spike team will have enough hex removal to counter that fairly easily.

Too much energy :S. 15 for Arcane Echo, and, umm, how much is Pacifism? Well, Pacifism x 2 + 15 is a lot. At least 25 energy. A good infuser would work better.

Good ranger spike is near impossible to infuse. You need to get in there faces and shutdown on their rangers.

You know, in a mixed spike build I ran in HA, we had a n/mo running curses and amity/pacifism. They acutally are pretty good spike shutdown since most boon prots only carry holy veil, so for at least 5-10 seconds, most of the spike will be shut down, enough time for you to counter-attack

the problem is that a pcified opponent can still cast spells and it takes 2 seconds to cast. you'd be better off with amity (.25 sec cast) and it does the effect to all adjacent foes, but it is an elite...
