The sad thing is, despite how beastly this build is, it seems you can only farm the "unwanted" greens, and not the high calibur ones.

Yea it works nice... I tried to find a dmg +20(while hexed) sword but all i could find is an axe.... also the dwarfslaying mod isn't perfect but pretty close.. only cost me 4k for the pommel, 2k for the hilt, and 2k for the sword.... notbad 8k for a new farming setup cuz the shield was obviously free....

I do have one question Lambda...
-I can clear all of GF, no problem now.... but when I get Oro and head into SF i cannot keep him alive on that first part.... is there a trick to it?

I did Oro Twice, first time I got past the hard part then now I havn't been able to since.
Yea, getting past that first part in Oro is Extremely hard. I reccomend just not getting that quest and just farm. I havn't tried farming the other quest yet but I would need some help from ppl testingthe quests out(havn't done the quests since SF update on old Warrior).

Plain SF farming cleared out first part then the group with 2 Taskmasters and a warden took me a few times to kill. After them I went to go clear FoW.

well I have cleared ALL of GF, I mean I had NO mercy.... not one thing left standing.... I take the HIGH PRIEST around with me as my personal healer... he pisses me off sometimes cuz he sometimes heals the enemy but its usually when I'm not taking enough dmg so I just pull another group and wammo.. I have killed ALL the bosses..... but their green drops do not hold much value... although if u take a little time to sell them they can be sold for an okay sum.... I've never sold a green under 5k and I've gotten the worst of green drops..... I have gotten several GOLD runes and SO much dang materials.... Still waiting for a gold Summit shield drop or summit axe.... get some rare scrolls... overall its fun to clear GF solo...but now its time to work on SF....

My question is this.... if I don't take any quest do all the bosses still spawn like they do when oro farming???

HIGH PRIEST!
- I suggest getting the High Priest... he will follow and heal you throughout ALL of GF.... makes you pretty much invincible as long as you don't aggro like 3 groups! and having him with you doesn't effect your drops.... so he's a free healer and its like he's not even there.... then when you are done with him... return to where you got him and talk to him.... he will stay there and you are free to take another quest(ORO) or go into SF without!

So Clearing GF is easy.... you will have a healer with all groups but 1 between the prospector and the high priest.... when you can do this easily, do it without the high priest, then without the prospector.... then solo GF without any help to get used to the build..... Then go into SF, cuz its a whole different ball-game in there, trust me!

Use of Skills

Healing
For Healing..Grenths Balance works great if you use it right... Use it on the Gnashers Like Lambda suggested cuz they constantly have life siphion on you so they're constantly regaining health, also use it on bosses, they are perfect targets for GB.... you can also put on Bonnett's defense and then use heal sig... but keep two things in mind.. MAKE SURE to use bonnett's before using heal sig and also make sure you don't have rust on you.... If you go with the High Priest strategy you won't ever have to use either ways cuz your healing will be taken care of!

Melee
For the Carvers and Herders that will be bashing away at you spam your ripostes.... they will drop in no time.... also make sure to keep dolyak sig on to prevent being knocked down! For fighting Yakslapper.... Try to pull as many herders/carvers as you can... spam your ripostes.... he will be healing them instead of himself and thats how you kill him!

Rangers/Gnashers
I usually kill these two last... First kill the rangers cuz the gnashers are your primary lifeline with GB, unless again your using the HIGH PRIEST method and then you can kill them first if you prefer to avoid the minions!
They both die easily... but if you do kill the gnasher last make sure to kill his minions first or he will just keep healing himself with Taste of Death!

Heretics
They are your biggest concern so kill them First.... I use the prospecter and High Priest against these groups so the degen doesn't affect me.... you can also try to avoid these groups but I suggest getting the High Priest, it just makes it so easy! but if you wanna challenge... heal like crazy and kill him quick!

Bosses

Ranger Boss- When you aggro this group you can kill him first or last or in between, it doesn't matter.... all that maters is that you have an interupt... I use salvage slash...Interupt Troll Urgent... by the time he tries to cast it again your interupt will be recharge.... well I know salvage slash does... So besides interupting his troll urgent constantly attack him using your adrenaline based attack whenever it charges... I use Galrath Slash... This is faster with the High Priest because you don't have to spend anytime healing, just concentrate on offense

Necro Boss- When you aggro this group it doesn't matter when you kill him.... its pretty much a hack&slash boss... just whack away at him till he's dead.... I use salvage slash when he cast Life Siphion simply for the dmg but he will cast it on you immediatly after while salvage is recharging...this boss is very easy to kill, kind of slow because of his consistant 3 pips of health regen but very easy none the less!

Monk Boss- This boss seems to be the trickiest whether you bring the priest or not.... The only way to kill him is to aggro a bunch of carvers/herders and spam your ripostes... he will concentrate on healing them and not himself.... KILL him in the process, its that simple!

Warrior Boss- This Boss goes down the Fastest.... Interupt his Healing sig as much as possible, spam your Ripostes since he's melee... and watch him drop... in GF, he is the sissy of all the bosses... well maybe not!

Mesmer Boss-NO special technique.... Just kill him or not, up to you!

Elementalist Boss- K Flint uses Aura of Restoration so spells that use alot of energy heal him....So try to interupt Rust and Freeze... other than that he's pretty easy... he spams water trident but with a 5 energy cost it doesn't really heal him....

Direction to "High Priest"

-Leave Warcamp
- Go down first small Hill - Pull first group up to prospecter(he will heal u)
- Pull the second group - back up to the prospecter... he will move half way down that first little hill and continue healing you

- after killing this group the path will curve to the left and bamm, theres the high priest... take his quest
-he will follow and heal you throughout ALL of GF, when your done bring him back to where you got him, talk to him again and leave him

I believe stoneskin is when you take a left turn and go downhill towards SF like the normal ORO run... u need to take the left path thats straight

First Off.... I said you can kill the first 2 groups and the 1 patrol using the prospector trick... well I was wrong.... you can also pull the 4th group too him also, the one on the way to high priest, that means you don't have to fight ANY groups without a Healer!

wow, that high priest sure goes a long way....I got pretty far into SF with just a standard tank with no self heals and SoJ + riposts. I wonder how well tanking with SS would work.

Also...Desperation Blow is a condition spammer... with all the gnashers you'll be fighting its a terrible choice.... why u ask, because they use PLAGE TOUCH, so any condition you put on them gets shoved right back in your face... so you say just don't use it on gnashers, well then bring another attack skill like power attack or any other.... if you use The "healers" you open up alot of free slots.... but if you wanna optimize speed doing this... I think running an SS or ELE would be faster than a warrior with any build.... You just can't pull as many groups because of the weaker armor!

Also.... Zealous mod is awesome.... but you should try a dwarfslaying pommel if your gunna stick with a warrior!

well, i found out how it works now, and it's pretty simple! just make sure u have always ur healer mate with u and u r almost invincible.
i also have hundred blades instead of GB because i found out when u get contant heal from prospecter and priest u don't need to heal urself. (i know, it's gonna be different story in SF). I also use both ripostes now and galrath slash and sever atery so it's pretty fast now. i clear GF in about an half hour. What about u guys?

Another question!

Some ppl are using a sword with +X dmg while health is below 50%...i tried this build and with the help of the healer my life never went below 50%...so i cant' understand. Maybe is it useful for inside SF?

All I ever though of was having the healer heal you in the first two groups to get used to it, but when you don't have the healer on you that 20under 50 sword will come in handy.

YES INDEED.... No healing skills or GB needed for clearing GF... but this build wasn't designed for using the Prospecter/High priest trick i'm sure... and I only use them for GF, then I take ORO for SF.... and trust me, doing ORO this build rocks.... only problem I ever have is the first group!
