ice imp farming?

had any one try to farm ice imp using 55 build? is it possible for 55/SS n/mo?

ive yet to try but im assuming they would own you in the face w/ maelstrom and mind freeze +no sb=gg

yea... just do some search... n/mo cant do it.

I did it with a regular 55hp build with mantra of resolve. Easy. Shit drops.

It's a bit tricky but very doable. Just prep up, wait for them to unload everything, move out of the way of post-slowdown Maelstorms (if any) and then hex them up while the window is open. It'll probably take 2-3 cycles to get them down. Still, in my experience, it's really not worth it.

Frigid hearts... that's it.

Totally not worth it for the irritation of being slowed and spammed w/ Maelstrom.

if it was easier to get em to stand next to each other, i'd say farm ice golems, but i think it'd be hard to group em as a nec since they have constant slow down when in a group (except when they are casting deep freeze) and use water trident

I know that you can farm them with SoJ with a 55 monk, simply because by standing at a certain range they will only wand you. So I would assume that if you could cast SS and then proceed to be stading at the proper distance it might be possible.

also getting there as a n/mo would be tricky and take whey to long

There is Ice Imps right outside Marhans Grotto. There is a lot of them. You attack one and the whole group comes. I can survive maybe 1 round of SS, then i'm finished. But if they don't drop much then no reason to bother unless you're just doing it for the challenge.
