Kurzick-Luxon inbalance
3 pages • Page 1
They will ballance out, really. If EVERYONE goes to Luxon it just means that good players are going to have to pull AWFUL players through most of the pvp stuff, and nobody really likes to do that. So Kurzick and Luxon will ballance each other out. I rember the FPE even that all the elitists took Kurzick then the lv 4-6 players went there so many people went to Luxon. Even I went to Luxon mainly because the people in Kurzick were jerks and I wanted to try Luxon, they were alot nicer.
So I truly belive they'll just go up and down, down and up when it comes out to it. Hopefully there will be some level restrictions when it comes to 12 vs 12 or something like it, becauswe I really don't like to power level 4s and 5s when I just want to have fun PvPing with a good group.

If the FPE is anything to go by, I find the Luxon areas and enemies more interesting visually, and the array of skills they use. When going through the Kurzick areas I seemed to be fighting Guardians, then more Guardians and finally some Guardians (ok the Mantis were cool). However the Kurzick areas were more challenging. I think casual players are gonna side with the Luxon and more serious players with the Kurzick.

Back on topic, I hope there are lots of people playing Luxons, as most of the people I know seem to be going Kurzick and it was starting to worry me (the underdog is always so much more appealing).
Out of interest, this might just be my obsession with fair play, but is everyone else concerned about the uinsportsmanlike bahavious some people are exhibiting just to get a win for their faction? I would rather lose a pvp than win because someone used underhanded tactics.

(And the Kurzick architecture is brilliant. But Jade has always been my favourite stone, so it's hard to resist a sea of the stuff.)
Well from what i saw in the FPE, 80% were luxon, but the win/loss in the 12v12 was pretty balanced, mainly because the majority of luxons were "noobs".
During the day the luxons did better, but it seemed that the more experienced pvp players had sided with kurzicks so during the evening when the better pvp players tend to play the kurzicks took more ground.
I prefer the luxon pirate image, but from what ive seen the scenery in the kurzicks part is awesome as opposed to the Jade Sea which gets boring fast.

I really don't see why people thinks the Kurzicks are gothic. Nothing could be further from the truth; they have a vibrant, artist culture. So they live in a pertrified forest, big deal. That doesn't make them gothic.
Personally I like Kurzicks better, just because there seemed to be fewer "spies" leaving 12 v 12 matches in the preview event on the Luxon side, i.e. fewer Kurzicks were going over to the Luxon side and leaving as soon as the game started. In one match, 4 people left as soon as the game started. The most I ever saw leaving from the Luxon teams was 2 people who left when they were about 150 points behind.
And I think my guild has decided to side with the Kurzicks as well.
