LOL!! We got 120 posts because a message that up once an hour that tells you how long youve been playing...sometimes I think people look for something to complain about.

Anet is obviously covering their butt so when the next idiot out there dies because they couldnt stop playing their computer, they are not liable.

Its funny cuz its the people who play GW all day long are the ones complaining about the message yet Anet wouldnt have had to put that into the game if people wouldnt dedicate their lives to playing the game.

Seriously, it is a single line that pops up in a usually scrolling chat window once an hour. Is this the thing you are going to really get upset about? I envy you the life you live that this is such a travesty.

Consider that there may be other reasons for it coming up. I am sure they didn't do it just to annoy you.

Studies have been done showing that prolonged exposure to staring at computer monitors can be bad for your eyes. Most will tell you that at least every hour you should change focus on something else for a few minutes.

I also remember reading that there may be complinace issues with other countries. They might be doing it to just show due diligence. If you choose to ignore it, not Anet's fault.

It is only a REMINDER. They are not forcing you to do anything. After the mission is over rest your eyes or continue to burn them to blindness. Whichever you want. It's your choice.

Anet should just add a feature that lets you turn the message off. Some people like it, some people hate it. I think it's a cool feature sometimes, like when the time you have is limited or somthing... But for the most part it's annoying, you get on because you have some time to kill, you don't really want to be remided of how much time you're killing. You're in intensive PvP and it distracts someone on your team, and costs you the match because of it(happened twice so far with PUGS, once with my guild...).

Really, just let us turn it off and on when we please, then no one could complain.

How bout the option to turn off that annoying you've been playing for 3 hours please take a break and while we're at it another option to get rid of henchmen "battle" chatter because its really annoying when they are spamming My fire will wash you clean and/or taste my steal or perhaps my claw plain and simple they're not real people they're just annoying so i think there should be a option to allow or not allow play time and henchmen spam.

Idea has been mentioned before... I seriously have to stop tempting myself into opening pages that say "most amazing idea ever"

It would be a cooler idea if you could actually tell them to shut up... lol

No way i want the henchmen to keep talking! it's great at least they don't talk like Rurik god he had the most lammest 1 linners...

But the you've been playing for 3 hours take a rest to be taken off...yeah it has been mentioned sevral times im afraid, its ok...get used to it eventually.

i think that most people on this thread that are against it.... really just want something to debate about.

I myself HATED this in the beginnign when it came out.... but truthfully how many times do u see and it and think "OMFG AHH NOT THIS MESSAGE AHHHH *slits wrist*" , or anything close... not many

to those of you who are deeply offended by this, just for u guys i think that GW should add an option to turn it off.
