I did a search and couldn't find my answer, so if this has been asked/answered before, I'd appreciate it if someone pointed me in the right direction.
Now, the only reason I'm trying to solo SF, is because I'm trying to complete my last 4 quests there(the one's given by Molachev, Marshall Whitman, and Thorm something, as well as the actual FA quest) as everyone is only interested in farming FA or Oro without doing the quests, and I can't find a group to quest to save my life.
I've got a full set of 55 gear, as well as a full set of drok's ascetics(for general use), as well as drok's censor's armor. I've also completed all of the optional class quests, so can switch to any secondary class, and I have unlocked every Monk skill(including elites) on my character. I also have about 25 skill points with which to buy skills.
So if anyone can give me some suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.
Also, I do play with my dad occasional when our play times coincide(not often, as I go to school full time and work part time, and he's on EST while I'm on PST), and he has an SS/SV necro that we 2 man UW with as well as elementalist that he just finished the game with. So if you think a 2 man team would have better success, I'm open to all of your ideas.
Thanks.
Possible to Solo sorrow's furnace?

I think the big problems you are going to face trying to solo the furnace are shatter enchantments will happen frequently and degen spells/conditions will happen frequently. And let's not forget the interrupts.
Certainly don't think it would be a quick solo job...
Though I think anything is possible

I saw that, but, the whole point is to finish the quests with my monk. Which is my ONLY character.

It's possible but it's not very rewarding and takes forever. I did it for about 30 minutes or so and ended up leaving as I was wasting my time.
But I was farming, you are questing.
You should just drop the whole solo idea and switch to a bonder or whatever type of monk you want and get a good 4-5 man group and just do it normally.
Cheers

I've tried this MANY times. I usually run a bonder, and all the FA groups I get into, DON'T want to finish the quest, just farm. I can't even get a group for the other quests, and I have spent HOURS trying to get one.
I guess my only real chance is to try it gain with henchman, which did ok the first time, but I hit a snag in the darkhaven area(with all the Dredge.)
Thanks for the help though.

Thanks for the help though. Perhaps you should be questioning your choice of guilds? It should not be hard to find people that are willing to help you out-especially if you are in a good guild.
Best of luck
