Dye Mixes
Cygnus_Zero
I have 2 sets of armor for my Necro. On my solo set I put a sweet mix on it (blue + green) + (blue). It looks really nice. I need a nice looking mix for my other Tormentors set which I use for general PvE and PvP. Anyone have any suggestions? Pix would help but not needed. The problem is I went through the dye chart on guildwiki and made some mixes, but most are just so bland looking. It seems impossible for me to even get like a nice bright red. Their all so subdued. This blue/green color I came up with really stands out. And I havent even seen anyone with that color yet. So im looking for a different color, but looks nice and vibrant. Cant post a pic right now. Im at work.

You shouldn't post the mix here then
Yeah I like to have something else than the basic black armor "that shows I can afford to buy 5 black dyes so now you know: I'm rich, so stfu and follow my orders, newb".

Well my mix is not original or complicated or anything. It just looks especially rich on 15k Tormentors. I just havent found anything else that looks near as good.

Sometimes it's just the armor. Like some of the gold mixes look like ass on non metallic armors but look beautiful on metallic textures.

Yeah I cant even get like a bright blood red. It always looks muddy and its getting too expensive to keep experimenting. Im blowing the rest of the money I made off farming IDSs trying to find a another vibrant color for my other set of 15k Tormentors.

Try using dye remover in your mixes, and silver so green +blue + dye +silver of blue, looks sweet for my armor

There's a thread titled post your necro! on the Screenshot Exposition forum where many people have shown pics of their necros and many provided what dye formulas they've used. You might want to check it out for ideas if you haven't already.

Thanks for the info guys. My issue is if you look at the chart on guild wiki, when you mix dyes, they dont actually look like that on your armor much of the time. So its like a crap shoot. You spend money on mixing 4 dyes to find out the result isnt what you thought. It can get expensive really fast.
