My Pet's Evolution

Did my pet miss out? My lizard just made it to Lvl. 20, but does not have any "Elder", "Dire", etc. name on it. Is this something I want that I didn't get?

Im not an expert on this but i have read a bit on it recently. The way i usderstand it, your pet will evolve at 11 and 15. The only way you will see the name of the evolution is if your pets name is restored to default (lynx, warthog, etc.)

I also read that if you have already named your pet, you can restore it to default by typing :

/namepet or /name pet

I havent tried it yet so i can't say for sure.

Try to restore your pets name to see what kind of evolution it got. If you want a different evolution you will have to tame a new pet and start over. Not sure how long it takes to get a lvl 5 pet to 20 though.

It's also possible to have a pet reach level 20 without having ever evolved. These plain little guys actually have the stats of the Elder pet, even if they don't get a neat "Elder" in front of their name. We've got a nice guide to this kind of stuff here on guru. The Pet Guide
