Ever seen a +9 mod? (besides Ogre slaying)

I always thought/have seen +7 as the max on damage resistance mods. I got a drop that IDed as a gold Shield of The Wing that is +9 vs Slashing Attacks?

Has anyone ever seen/heard of such an item? Did a recent update increase that limit to 9?

+vs slashing,piercing,blunt etc on shields was raised to 10 as max

^ Yeah, had a gold eternal with +9 vs something or other last week.
