I was thinking how come a warrior doesnt use his shield for offensive purposes, like shoving, hitting, etc. It could be tactics or strength based.
Shield Punish
Cost 10, Recharge 30s
Shield Attack: If this attack hits an enemy casting a spell, that enemy is knocked down.
Shield Backhand
Cost 6 adrenaline
Shield Attack: If this attack hits, it does damage equal to your weapon's critical damage.
^^ so what do you think?
New Skills Suggestion: Shield attacks

Yea, more shield skills should be interesting.
Shield Guard (shout)
Cost 5 adrenaline
Effect: The next time you get hit from attack or spell, the damage is reduced by X...XX.
Though hammer warriors should be pretty annoyed by the fact that they cannot use the skills

I like the idea, but it's just another bonus for Sword and Axe warriors...as though they needed more help.

It'd give warriors more flexibality and more options and options are good.
Maybe in chapter 3, there will be 1 handed hammers and 2 handed swords/axes introduced.

i'd like somthing like
defenders glory it could be an elite warrior skilll/spell thingy
costs-10 energy
recharge time-60 seconds
cast time - 1/2
what it does is takes the damage from all your party members and reverts it to yourself for like x..XX time depending on strength or tactics level (can't decide which one lol)
but yes, more sheild skills other than the defences and sheild bash would be nice

But then you would need 'Shield Mastery' ...
Shiled mastery could also give something like 1.5% chance to blockwith each point in shield mastery

You could put it in Str mastery, since you'll need alot fo str to whack someone w/ a shield hard enough for it to count.
Anyway, My Ideal shield attack would be(we don't need defending skills since there are alot alot of stances w/ it)
Battering Shield
8 adrenaline
Shield attack, knockdown non moving foe, if target was casting a spell, target for is dazed for 3-7 seconds.
Ofcourse, my concern for this is that shock and skills like these would limit the useability of hammer warrs, but shield is blunt dmg so there really aren't much dmg a shield should be doing that isn't already covered by weapon skills unless they're conditions. Shields are more likely to cause concussions = dazed. Thats why I put a non moving foe, I tried to make hammer attacks above it, hammer attacks should spam conditions better than axe/sword IMHO.
