I mainly play PvP in RA with this build:
lightning orb
lightning surge {E}
enervating charge
lightning strike
blinding flash
shock
air attunment
rez sig
i can easily kill a caster with 2 cycles of spiking, and shutdown a warrior with blinding flash, enervating charge and shock. but when facing rangers, i am totally pissed. any suggestions?
also looking for a guild that do HA or GvG

If Elemental Attunement were your elite, you could spam Blinding Flash. I anyway favor Elemental Attunement because it makes Aura a meaningful self-heal.
It's still a tough 1-on-1 battle in theory vs. an interrupt ranger, as he could kite while Blinded and try again, or get lucky and eventually shoot through the blindness. Not to mention Antidote Signet.
But even RA isn't 1-on-1.
Basically, rangers are a lousy matchup for elementalists no matter what we do. They have great armor against us, and they have interrupts.
