Hey. A while back when things started to wind down and I didn't really have much left to do in the Prophecies campaign, I made a quest for myself to solo as much of the world as I could. My rules were, I had to go around in each zone and kill every single monster in that zone, and go through every mission and kill every single thing in the mission. I had to use one build per zone that could solo everything in one zone, and be able to do it in one run. It started out easy of course, and pwning Ascalon to Kryta was fairly easy the whole way through. Then I got to the Black Curtain. The biggest obstacle in the Black Curtain was the Reed Stalkers, which large groups of these casting Clumsiness/Wastrel's on you, you die quite fast. My solution to this was Obsidian Flesh. With Obs Flesh I could go in and kill one or two Reeds, then get out before Obs Flesh wore off, without havin them cast that trash on me once. So, I built my build around Obs Flesh. The rest of the build was just basic warrior stuff, and with Obs Flesh, the Black Curtain was pretty much no problem at all, it just took some time. Everything was going quite well after a few runs of tweaking the build, and I thought that for sure I was almost done. Then I came across the Shadowy Nightmares. These guys travel in packs of 3 and wield Touch of Agony, a beastly skill that does 48 direct dmg per hit, and is easily spammable. Taking on one Shadowy Nightmare was easy, but when two or more came at you, it was impossible to stay healed as a W/E with the fast spamming Touch of Agony. Eventually, I found that the only solution I could come up with would be Obsidian Flame. Rather silly yes, but it got the job done. Slowly, very slowly. I could spike them down wielding a +15 nrg staff one at a time using a flame>run>flame>run>flame>run...tactic, and then I would wait for my massive exhaustion to go away and start again. It got the job done, and I completed the task for that zone. It took a very long time though, and I'm glad to say I'm never going to solo the Black Curtain again. But now, I've gotta move on to the next zones. There is the zone west of BC, and the zone south of BC. Both of these zones have a few Shadowy Nightmares in them too, wielding the same old Touch of Agony. My build would work and could solo the zones, but I don't really need Obs Flame, and, other than the Shadowies, I could easily solo both zones with a Wammo or something else. So I'm not the best warrior, and I'm wondering if any of you warrior pros have any ideas on how to counter the fast direct dmg from Touch of Agony, it's a skill so I can't block it with Obs or a stance, and I can't disable it with D-Chop because it casts too fast and it would take insane timing/guessing skill to start D-Chopping as they start touching. I could stop it with a Distracting Blow, but that recharges too slow for the spammable Touch of Agony. Any ideas?
Here's my Obs Flesh BC solo build BTW:

Str: 5
Axe: 12
Tactics: 8

Hi, I actually created a warrior build specifically to kill the Fog Nightmares in Kryta. I think I've gone through 5-6 builds to get to this one. Secondary doesn't matter if you have Defy Pain.
Attributes:
Strength:10+1
Axe: 10+2
Tactics: 11+1
Equipment:
I use Glad's Hauberk, Leggings, and Boots, Knight's Gloves, And Executioner's Helm(Axe). Minor Axe, Strength, and Tactics, Supeior Absorb, and Major Vigor(I'm too cheap to buy Superior for 9 health, andI haven't found one yet).
Zealous Axe of Fortitude +15% in stance is ideal, mine is a Zealous Axe of Defense, and I switch to Victo's Axe if I'm in trouble.
+45 HP, -2 Stance Shield
Longbow/Flatbow to pull/start charging adrenaline.
Skills:
Cyclone Axe, Executioner's Strike, Penetrating Blow, Defy Pain, Sprint, Healing Signet, Endure Pain, Flurry.
This setup can easily take groups of 3 Nightmares, but if another spawns, I have to hit sprint. The Nightmares spawn in groups of 3, so pull them with a long/flatbow, and let them come to you. If you have a flatbow, hit Flurry before you fire to start charging adrenaline, switch to axe just before the first one reaches you, and cyclone.
Before I got Defy Pain, I used a warrior/mesmer build with Illusion of Weakness at 130? health(6 Illusion, drop strength to 8+1). Substitute IoW for Defy Pain, and Eviscerate for Penetrating Blow.
In a hurry now, may post later with specifics.

Fog Nightmares in Kryta are easy to handle
most of the time, 1-2 at the time when they spawn
anyway, a classic sword build works perfectly on em
but give a try at killing them with a FDS, they rlly hate fire
