I was in a town the other day and something interesting popped up in the chat screen.
someone appeared to be using a track announce from winamp or wmp in gw. couldve been someone ctrl + v'ing track info straight into the chat. i was just wondering if anyone knew if there was a hotkey for track announce, or a winamp plugin for it..

I wouldn't mind seeing that, but it also has a high chance of being spammed. Hopefully if it gets added there will be an XMPlay plugin as well.

I dunno, sometimes i use my track announce on IRC, and just copy paste into GW chat if i'm playing with friends. He may or may not have been doing this.

Even if it was possible, I wouldn't advise it. It probably is something that hooks onto Guild Wars, which would constitute as an outside program.

lol agreed with SilentAssassin. I don't need to know what music other people are listening to. If I'm that desperate to know I'll ask them, but you just know some jerks will use it to spam. Other than that how often are you likely to use it legitimately? Not often enough for it to be worth it I'm thinking.
