i have farmd too much to buy the fowarmor but i wont wait for factions because there may be a better 'armor'

Anyway, I'm assuming you mean you have collected all the materials needed to craft FOW armor and now seeing if its worth to wait for factions instead of wasting that many crafting mats... right?
Well, my answer to you is this, Keep your ecto and shards! Yes there will be new armors in factions and depending on your taste, yes(IMHO) there are better looking armors w/ more practical choices too. Reason I said to keep those mats is cause there might be FOW armor for the new classes and it might strike your fancy. Although IMHO, FOW monk armor, Necro female FOW and Female warr FOW to an extent seem still to look best.
And there is no "Better" armor in general, since its really only gonna be the skin that'll make the difference or the kind of stats your going for. Like glad set in factions suppossedly look different from Prophecy glads, but both do the same job.

Save it, since one of two things will happen:
1- Everyone making assassins and ritualists as well as new people rolling in factions would want to make a FOW armor for this new characters, this would increase the demand as well as the price
2- FOW won't be accessible to faction only characters, but considering that only 2 out of the total 5 zones are out currently (1 for each god) chances are we will see the other 3 eventually, and since A.net like to interconnect things, your ectos might find a use in crafting new stuff for the new zones. they are currently the most expensive rate crafting material, no? Therefore expect them to always be in demand.
In short, dont' sell
