personly I think the should a gave a small quest or spiecal favor of the gods or something. I will have both CE

IMO I think it'd be cool to get a special armor set for the new classes, somethin to make you stick out among the non-CE owners

The Collectors Edition for Factions seems like its gona be pretty lame compared to Prohecies CE!
With the original you got a Guildwars Headset (which I still use) 3 Months Free Teamspeak server and the Divine Aura!
This time its just a poster, and some special dance effect for the assasin and Ritualist only!..., oh I heard there was a mousemat also oO.
With Pre-order items only being for the new proffesions also it seems a bit lame this time around..
This special dance manouver better had be AMAZING!

If you buy the Factions CE, and do NOT have the Prophesies CE (only standard Prophesies), will the base classes have the glowing hands?

Ability to buy and use white dye, not able to sell, give or drop them to regulars?

But I agree that Factions CE is pretty lame in comparison to what Prophecies CE had offered.

While none of us seem to be treating it this way, Factions IS a stand-alone game. Theoretically, according to A-net, some people will buy and play it without having Prophesies.
This, of course, is good news for us, because it means they're obligated to make as many armors, weapons, skills, monsters, etc. as they did for the first game, or it won't be worth the price as a stand-alone product.
Seems odd, then, that if you buy the Factions CE, you'll have all these neat character classes, but only a tiny fraction of them (two!!) will get anything interesting from having the CE.

there is no logic to say that if you have the benafits on one you should automatically be given the benefits of another...
Using your logic it should mean that Prophecies owners who buy Factions CE should have these back-up dancers for all their characters, which is just not the case.
In any case.. no matter which logic or argument you put behind it, the answer is still NO
ANET made it VERY specific that the DA is special ONLY to GW:CE account codes.

Well in the UK I secured mine at £31.61 all inclusive of VAT and delivery! You can get it cheaper if you have points as well! For anyone interested, head over to Tesco.com.
Cost wise, I don't think it is an issue at the above price?

Since I bought a CE already and I like GW a lot (than WoW
) and a big fan of NCsoft and people who quit *****-companies (like ANet), I'll keep buying CE no matter it takes.I'm from the Philippines, dang, I have to bug online stores, call relatives abroad, just to guarantee I'll get a CE
I don't care if it'll cost me U$100 (ceiling price) as long as I get a CE...sigh NCsoft please offer CE to more countries, you'll earn a lot anyways, here in the Philippines alone, more than half of your customers want a CE - you (NCsoft via local distributor) that there are 5,000 unique users here. :/ Im losing lots of money just to get a CE.
But anyway, hence "Collector's Edition"
