someone was asking about an ettin quest or something, i asked them wat it was and they said that there was a quest and when u took it there were ettins to kill for runes. Is this true or just some fallacy being passed around?

A Kurzik quest? Of thats what they ment yes, new patch gives lets you talk to the leader or the kurzik camp.

Their is a quest (the lost prized hog)or similar when you need to kill I think 6 Ettins. You get it from the Ascalon settelment North of LA that maybe the one they are talking about.

there was a kill the ettin quest to clear the campsite for the luxons or the other.

gone now.

on the pig quest kill the ettins, dont finish the quest, zone, abandon it, and get it again.

It was Luxon Settlement Quest at LA,which is no longer available. It was the beginning of a series of Factions quests.

The Luxon quest. Easy ~15 ettins that are way easier to farm than normal ones.

You have to have activated it before the update that removed the quest starting though.

The Ettin quest was probably the Luxon Settlement where you needed to set a campsite up for the Luxons to settle. There were many Ettins, and one that was not seen before, the Earth Bound Ettin (please correct if wrong), which was an Earth Elementalist.

To Lateralus: Why not get Victo's Bulwark and be done with it? Lol.

if you just want to farm ettins for runes you dont need a quest.. just head out of beetltun via the nebo terrace exit go straight past the mergoyles and caromi and you will find yourself in ettin territory

The point was the Luxon settlement quest had FAR more ettins in it, and they were so much faster to kill.

I still have the quest active from before it was removed, soI still farm it So much better than the old ettin path.
