Suggestion for a /favor command...

I'm sure i'm not the only person that's though of this, but having to wait for the system message, or go to Temple of the Ages, of have a friend check for you is kinda annoying.

insted, an addition of a /favor command would allow people to check the favor in basically the same way as going to ToA does.. and will allow people to monitor the status while doing other things.. or allow guildies to prepare groups for Fow/UW.

/favor would only have to say "CountryName currently has the favor of the gods."

I don't do Underworld or FoW so it doesn't matter to me. I'm sure it would be beneficial in the longrun to have this feature implanted to the game. Why not?

Usually, I just tell people to go to ToA, as it tells you as soon as you enter. Sadly, I usually get the response of "What's ToA?" Makes me wonder why they want to know who has favor >:|

There are many way to check for favor. go to ToA, says so when u log in, go to Hero's Ascent, scroll up in your chat log, or simply wait until you see the next team winning halls. honestly its not that difficult

Yes but it would be a very minor update for a bigger benefit to PvE'rs so agreed, add this command.

It's a shame that Heroes Ascent which is totally PvP based, affects the PvE world. Why should _________ country be in control of HA and stop players from doing UW and FoW? It's not very fair to people in some countries because by the time their region gets favor, it may be too late for people to do FoW and UW. I mean, how would you feel if you lived in America, and America got favor at 10:30PM but you couldn't do FoW or UW because you have to go to bed for school the next day?

I've suggested this before myself. Lots of things are "easy", but travelling to ToA or scrolling back while you're in a mission/quest isn't easy or usually possible. or maybe the text is too far back to scroll with all the text from the battle, etc....

Just to add onto this. With a /favor command, if added; there should also be an option to disable the "Blah blah has won the battle in the..." messages.

ANet definitely needs to add this into the game, it would be a highly used command and stop so many people from asking "Do we have favor?"

With the Canthan statues, offering nice bonuses -when in favor. It would be nice to have a way to check favor with a emote
