Videos not very popular?

I've noticed in this section videos by and large don't seem to get many comments (with the occassional exception) - is there any particular reason for this? People just don't like videos? Some threads get a lot of views but next to no comment? Or the videos are too good? Just don't download them? I dunno

Personally, with going to school for animation right now, I tend to be really cynical towards the videos and the way they're put together (I even pick apart the real movies I watch). I've maybe seen one that I could have commented on without sounding like I was flaming... so I'd rather just keep my mouth shut.

I have a feeling that for most people it's a case of not downloading them, since not everyone has a high speed connection.

Yeah, the feedback for videos can get painfully suspenseful. I'd even be happy with flames as long as I got some type of feedback. I try to comment on everything I view, like it or not. I just wish everyone else did this. Even a "hey, can you make a lower res version so I can download it?" Ah well. They're fun to make, so I'll keep making em weather people watch em or not.
