I hear alot about 'The Underworld' but I've never actually been there myself.
Can anyone tell me where its located and how I get there?

Ok first off you have to be ascended. Then your region has to have the favor of the gods. You go to the Temple of the Ages, located in Kryta, and you will see several statues. Go to the Grenth one and kneel. A little ghosty type thing pops up and you talk to it. Pay the 1 plat offering in service to Grenth and bam you get taken to the UW. I do not recommend going alone unless you have an uber build because the monsters there dish out huge damage.

I use solo builds posted on this site, advertised to work against lvl24 charrs etc. Think I'd be ok or is it risky?

Well the first enemies you'll likely encounter are bladed aataxes, black minotaur looking things. They hit for about 250 points of damage on average. Also Dieing Nightmares will remove enchantments from you so if you're a wammo that relies on enchants you'll die quickly.

yes, ectoplasm drops in the UW, worth about 6k a piece. also, chests often contain gold weapons. the drops down there usually pay for the cost of going with a party.

If you can stance tank, also you'll find pick up groups for Fisure of Woe (same rules apply, also at ToA, staue of Balthazar).
Also good money!!! keys are more expensive though.

So is it more beneficial to go to FoW or UW money wise? I need cash quick, would it be better to jump in a party for FoW, as it seems more popular?

FoW takes a little more preparation party wise. UW can be done relatively easily with relatively small groups which maximizes the drops to party members ratio. It's possible to do UW with 2, 3, and 4 man groups. I think the least I've seen for FoW, at least generally advertised anyway, is 5. Even if you have a piss poor run of either one you'll still make at least the entry fee back in drops.

Defensive Stance
Watch yourself!
Bonettis Defense
Healing Hands
Healing Signet
Healing prayers: 9
Strength: 8+1
Swordsmanship 11+1
Strength 7+1
I feel this gives me good defense and decent attack, I could sub Dolyak Signet in for Defensive stance. I don't know what kind of foe I'm going to come up against down there so any suggestions would be appreciated
