I'm new to GW. Just leveled up my first 20 which happens to be a Necro. I'm now wanting to work on my second character and Warrior looks like a lot of fun. I mainly plan to PVP with this warrior.
Last night, while watching PVP matches, I saw a team of something like 5 Warr/Rangers, and 3 of other classes, but no monks. The warriors were W/R and all had wolves and used a shield + 1 hander.
My question is, does anyone have any idea what build this is? What they have in Warrior and what in Ranger. I'd like some details on it because it looked like a lot of fun.
Is there some standard build out there for this that I could follow and experiment with? Or anyone from that team that could post and let me know what you guys use, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Kz
Saw a PVP team of W/R, questions about it.

It's called IWAY, and it's been around for about 3 months now. Everyone hates it at this point because it takes almost no skill to use. My suggestion: stay away.
If you really want to know, the skills they use are something like this:
Eviscerate(e)
Penetrating Blow
Executioner's Strike
Frenzy
"I Will Avenge You!"
Sprint (or a ranger spirit)
Charm Animal
Resurrection Signet

a little more in-depth about IWAY:
the IWAY build is based on one skill: I Will Avenge You. 5 energy, shout, 45 second recharge, methinks. been a while. anyway, the pets are fodder to power I will avenge you (IWAY). link:http://www.guildwarsguru.com/skill/1...ill-avenge-you
for each dead pet, you get 10 seconds of health regeneration and +25% attack speed, which, with an axe warrior with 16 axe mastery, is incredibly deadly. each W/R carries a pet, so ideally you'll have 5 dead pets on your hands, equaling to 50 seconds of increased health regeneration and +25% faster attack speed.
the other players in an IWAY team are usually 2 R/Me trappers and an "Orders" N/E last time i checked. the necro uses Order of Pain and Order of the Vampire to increase the IWAY warriors' damage output. the trappers spread conditions that hinder the enemy and deal damage.
overall the build is quite powerful, but very linear in its damage source, making it very, very very susceptible to anti-warrior counters. only problem was, a lot of people were unable to cope with IWAY and complained so much that it got nerfed. there's a lot of arguments out there for and against IWAY, but the results still stand.
a lot of the people here will discourage you to play the build, but it's your choice. i'm not really a proponent or opponent of IWAY, but i did dislike how it turned the Hero's Ascent situation into a stagnant, retard breeding ground.
now....a normal IWAY warrior build would be:
Eviscerate {elite skill}
Penetrating Blow
Executioner's Strike
Tiger's Fury
"I Will Avenge You!"
Charm Animal
Sprint, or Revive Animal, Predatory Season, Edge of Extinction, Winnowing
Resurrection Signet
a lot of that is subject to change.
Beware: IWAY is a broken machine now that it's been weakened by some recent updates. it's not as effective as it once was. try looking into other team builds, since IWAY is usually destined to failure.
