I actually got the two hammers in this pic off of trolls:

Mind you, hammers aren't that valuable, but they are decent drops. I've also had various gold raven staves and black dye too.
When it comes to valuable drops I think that it's Avicara you need to farm. The braves carry fellblades and FDS so there's a remote chance of a gold drop. I've had two gold fellblades fall from avicara, but sadly they were high req (12-13) and without any good mods.
Smart money says to keep farming UW/FoW where the likelyhood of good drops is much higher.

kind of a funny story I had recently... I was doing a troll/avicara/tundra giant run, and the first group of avicara mixed with 3 trolls I came across only dropped 3 crappy items all together. So, I decided I wasn't gonna pick up any more garbage items the rest of the run, and left huge steaming piles of crap laying everywhere. I picked up some purple and blue armors along the way, ided them as junk, threw them back on the ground, along with junk foehammers and giant hammers. As I was leaving more and more piles of junk behind, I got disconnected 007, just as I was throwing some more junk on the ground. LMAO. I wonder if it was something on my end, or if somebody said, "What?! She's not picking up our useless junk anymore? That's it, teach that monk a lesson!"

I've only goten 2 black dyes in 8 months...1 of those someone didnt pick it up and i sat here for 5 min waiting fo rit to go free for all 
as for golds, ive only been farmign trolls for about 4 days but ive gotn 2 golds from them (not counting about 5 frmo avrica and giants) a few keys and like yellow and orange dye . i also have made about 800+ wood in those 4 days and about 300 inron ingots and 100 steel ingots, its prety good if you want materials to sell or for armour but other that that all its god for is powelevling for money and XP.
