at the moment, you have to party up, and instance, then its one instance for your party... Im not saying change the whole game... but it would be nice, atleast for some areas to be shared.. where you can come accross other party's, and either work together, or fight them...

just an idea

and no, dont tell me to go play WoW if i want this, WoW sux balls, the community blows and the game is slow and boring.

Yeah, I thought about this, and I like it, but bad things would come along with it.

Such as kill stealing and lag.

You can't really kill steal in GW...however...it could mess up the drops...

there you go with breaking it down to farming again. this is a quest concept.

I see it more like a mission however. The parties spawning in a mission at different points... Going through the game and either meeting up to fight each other for control and win of the mission, OR teaming up and fighting a HUGE boss mob for the end mission.

If memory serves this is something like the concept that is being implemented in Harvest Temple mission. Two parties of 8 meet up and either team up to kill the lev 30 dragon with several bosses, or fight each other first, then take on the dragon as a single party with no extra bosses. basically the bonus entails working together instead of fighting each other. That kind of thing...

I'm pretty sure that is where the story line was going with the whole whirlpool harvest temple area on the FPE. at least that's what I got from it.

think of it like the courtyard with a twist... either you open one path together or the other as a single party. either will result in end mission. But the desision to ally or not to has to be met first. If you ally and do the more complex path, there are better drops and you get the bonus too... If you do not you kill the other party and simply continue and complete the mission. nothing special.

Co-operative missions would...be...categorically...awesome. I can't wait to see this.
