I've been asking myself how price checking works cause i saw something unexplainable...
Can someone tell me how is it possible that this item:
Water Staff of Warding (with new skin)
Energy +10
Cold Dmg: 11-22 (req.10 Water Magic)
Halves skill recharge of spells (Chance:10%)
Halves casting time of Water Magic spells (Chance:20%)
Armor+6 (vs. elemental attacks)
has been sold for 300k, and my item:
Defensive Water Staff of Fortitude (with new skin)
Energy +10
Cold Dmg: 11-22 (req. 11 Water Magic)
Halves casting time of Water Magic spells (Chance:20%)
Armor +5
Health +27
is worth nothing?
Pls someone tell me, cause i can't find a reason...
Little question about price checking

the reason is because on your staff missing the second mod: (universal skills reacharge) indispensable for a staff
Kalidon
And that difference makes the price drop from 300k to 0?
Still can't understand this..

well first off you cant add a % mod ... they have to found that way ... and on a staff if they dont have 2 theyre garbage

However is preferable the skill recharge and not casting

not necessarily, i know nuker eles like to have casting over recharge, and so do death necros, AND the original poster's staff is not worth "nothing". just not much, it has one perfect mod, a great one too 20% casting in same attribute, the best one for that type of staff. i sold one that had only 20% casting on fire for 10k the other day and probably could have got more. but, fire is much more in demand also... i'd try for 1-5k for that staff buddy, but if u cant find a buyer, just merchant it. if it was a more in demand attribute, it would be worth "something", like the fire staff i sold, but yes, the guys above are mostly correct about if it doesnt even have a 2nd mod, it makes a HUGE difference.
