My question is what should i do with weapons that aren't worth much (<1k)?
Is it better to salvage them for parts, sell them to merchants, or sell them to low level players with some gold (for a fair price of course)?
THANK YOU!

none of em are close to being max, give the mods away, and the staff, or merchant the staff.
personally, i dont waste my time selling an item, unless i know i can get at least 3k for it. some richers players have same philosophy for stuff under 10k, lol. otherwise, i sell to merchant, or give to a friend. if an item has bad "inherent" mods, but a maxed other mod(s) that i know i can get at least a quick 1k or more for (since mods are easy to sell), i'll salvage it.
inherent mods are ones that cannot be changed or salvaged from a weapon like +15% damage above 50% health for a sword, axe or bow, or 20% casting 20% recharge on staffs and wands, etc.
