Don't know about him or people like him but I've played both sides of the coin and rather do PvE over PvP. What do the rest prefer?

I prefer PvE but I also like to play certain PvPs. Particularly, I like GvG and Random arenas for quick kicks.

This topic has been repeated umpteenbillion times on here. It always ends up the same way with each side saying the other side sucks while a few middle of the road people try to maintain calm and tranquility. I've actually determined something. This game is awesome it's just the people who play it that suck.
Allow me to clarify too. I'm not just starting something here but it seems to me that every other day there is a new post in the Biggest Jerk thread or a new post regarding some scam. Very rarely do you see positive posts on here. Given that there is so much negativity I have more or less been forced to draw the conclusion that the community is at fault for all of the problems in the game that aren't purely technical in nature.

I rarely ever do PvP. I'd prefer a more PvE roleplaying online game, but I'm not willing to pay a subscription for a game, and I still have a lot of fun in Guild Wars despite the severly lacking RP, so I make do.

well, i guess if we just stuck to saying which we prefer, and not the *why* we prefer one over the other, it might not sink into the fiery pit of flamedness

Mandy is somewhat on target. PvE might be a bit more challenging if the high-end areas required more than someone holding a book/gear/whatever and standing there.
PvE entirely a joke? No. High-end PvE being challenging with the exploitable AI that ANet refuses to fix? Haha, not even close.

The best thing about this game is that PvErs and PvPrs don't even have to LOOK at eachother if they don't want to. Remember folks, there's always WoW as an alternative...
Also, can we get a nice "BANNED" logo added to the front of that flamer cap?

Yes, Calamitykell, he kinda is a target but that's because after that reply I checked all the threads I either started or replied in and found he would most of the time not only flame myself but others rather than give a non offensive thought out opinion. As for posting this thread rather than retaliate I was curious of the reaction. what a reaction it was, wow lol. If this is beating a dead horse just close it. Don't want to cause major trouble just a little. The search function is down.

I've always hated PvP regardless of game... I can see how some people enjoy it but being cheaped by the same skill set followed by "I pwnz'd j00 n00bz00r, g0 bac 2 pre-ascalon"
