Nerf 55 - other then skills

ANet and other gamers are getting hit hard,
the reason Droks Int'l D1(or chinese farm haven)

instead of taking away skills or weapons that will sky rocket in price!
(aka dont nerf the -50 item, it will be worth to much)

Why doesnt Anet fix the glitches that the 55 build is made around?
they've none this since the begging but the completly ignored it.

I believe the only way to nerf farming will be to nerf the 55 glitch not 55build/skills, because the build/skills are used in groups and other uses

finally to the point, with this coming patch April 15th
The GW community NEEDS(not wants) NEEDS Anet to solve this
- By a nerfing the double rune stack (dual sup runes)
therefore bringing the HP lvl to 130
- Maybe by also nerfing the Dual hp regens (mending+ breeze)

If this is not fixed in this update or with in a month of April 27th(factions)
Bye to a whole new chance at a good market, not this over farmed crap!
if this isnt fixed within of factions realese all the 55 farmers will have had a rush to high lvl areas and then be able to farm brandnew weapons,at a unbelievble rate.

You're stupid for saying that it should be nerfed, what's your problem with it? If it was nerfed, I am SURE many of the current active players would simply leave.

If you don't like the 55 Farming build or farming in general, then don't involve yourself with it.

I have found 55ers quite annoying BUT in no way would I ever wish for their ability to be one get nerfed. My only wish is that people would understand 55ers can only be ressed with a Res Sig. It might be funny using a Monk Res but the poor 55er may not find it funny at all. Every single weird and odd item A-Net added has a even weirder and even odder use than what A-Net might of thought for them. People got clever with the -50 offhand and started creating 55ers. So don't go demanding that a simple item or method be nerfed because you hate the build.

I'd have to agree with the OP... who cares what the active players are going to do, if they're abusing the gametype and it's bonuses to ruin the economy just for their own profits and skewing the perspective away from A-Net's promise that the casual gamer can still compete on a normal level with others if he/she only has the ability to get on a lot less than the hardcore people. A-Net has not really done ANYTHING to stabilize the economy since I began to play in August and I have just watched prices go crazy all over the chart for all kinds of items and reasons wherever I've gone. I don't really care if A-Net wants or doesn't want to cripple the 55 (because I'm self sufficient) but they should do it by fixing the items they use and not the skills, because the skills are universal, while the items can remain unique and will not have as bad of an impact on the community in general, as do skill nerfs because many other builds are offset by them because of their careless "just change this and be done with it" type of attitude.

This idea has been suggested many times. It's still just as bad as it ever was however - because every 55 monk would turn into an elementalist. They have five attribute lines and thus can hit 105 health sans rune doubling.

Or maybe add some birds in the cave... 2 guiles will do. or
how bout even adding a dying nightmare..

or wait.. lets make you a 55 monk so you start farming and stop complaining about how other people play the game..

You also talk about glitches.. i see none. a sup rune gives you - health no matter if it the same one. what type of glitch is that i seriously think someones jealous about not having the same money and weapon income some 55er's do have.

Its not even a matter about fixing or nerfing but more about adding certain groups of enemies to the place being farmed. ( just like augury.)

and did you pla FPE???????? if you did you would notice almost every fricking group of enemies have some sort of mesmer enemy in it.. making any type of farming hard.

please keep the flames out of this thread. although i am a 55 user and i support 55ing, keep the flames out. this person has the right to express his fealings and ideas towards 55 monks.

My feelings:
1. there are no 'glitches' as the OP suggested (everything is viable)
2. not being able to stack mending and breeze...you might as well throw out the whole concept of healing.
3. like iway, the 55 monk was a build created by an individual who took the time to stop and think of a build that suited his needs.

You can't nerf the skills. You can't nerf the -50HP Cesta. You can't nerf the cumulative -75HP from two identical Sup runes.

What's left?

Change the mobs. Just like the Scarab Queen. Necro or Mesmer.

If you nerf the trolls, the 55ers will find new places (I already go through a few). There will always be places to farm.

The best fix is to put in enough money sinks in the game so that people will actually use what they farm.

Actually you can by making the penalties non-stackable for each kind.

Or in programming terms, the -75HP doesn't kick in unless the +3 to a skill does.

People are just jealous because they can't afford a 55 monk, so they want to ruin it for other 55'ers. Get over it, 55'ers are here to stay.

can both be used to bring the 55er back to full health, although arguably arnt that great. My first time thru with a char i had a 55er in that Dragon place in the desert with Glint, he just became deadweight as the first area has masses of Degen.

Personally I dont see the point in nerfing this, if you do you should find whatever wammos use to farm and nerf that, nerf SS for necro too, and why not just nerf everything.

Ok, so maybe it annoys you that these Bots or sweatshop workers farm with it alot, but if you nerfed 55 monk, there would only be a transition period where they find the next best farming build.

i have no idea how these farmers effect GW economy,but i am really irritated for sure of these bots bcoz they sell the gold for real money and people buy that gold.the problem is not the 55 build it is the Bot farmers that we have to stop.

lol when will ppl realize that there's no point in farming in this game. I mean there's hardly anything you can do with money except buy the best weapon. Everything else is simply cosmetic.
