Hi Everyone,

Im planning on buying a new pc next week as GW is currently using 99% of my pc processor power. Problem is i cant find my GW disk, can i just download it for the official site, and what do i do about the key. I'm sure i read somewhere that i only need my email and password.

Any help would be great, just forward planning atm and still looking for the disk, so far i only found the cardboard box lol

Cheers

Yeah, all you need it the client, your e-mail addie and password. It'll download all your content for you. I've read that if you back up your .dat file that you can even avoid the downloads (my .dat file is 9 gigs!). I haven't tried it so I can't confirn whether that's correct, but it makes sense.

GW will continue to use 99% of your CPU. It's a game. It's supposed to soak up all the resources available.

And yes you can backup the DAT file. I have moved mine from one computer to another in the past to diagnose technical issues.

GW uses around 40% of my processor... I have a P4 640 3.2GHz OCed 10% to 3.52 with 2 GBs of RAM and a 7800GT... This game is depends more on the RAM and Video Card then the processor...
