Purchasing char slots in the future

I asked Gaile Gray her personal opinion about purchasing char slots and she said that many players have asked this question before. She said that they might implent this without delaying other important features... Anet will do their best to fulfill the request.

So, what are your opinions about this? Should it be added and if so, would you buy an extra slot?

I bought a second account to get more slots, and with Factions on both of them, I'll have 12 slots. I can't see myself needing more. But I've seen people say in other forums that they'd like to buy more characters slots without buying another account, so it would probably be good if Anet allowed that.

What I want: more storage! Things will only get worse with two more characters on each account.

I have two acounts too. I'll merge Factions with one of them, than I have 10. Already more than I play

Well, I'm going to have six character slots (merged) already... I find it hard to believe I'll actively be using all six characters. One or two will likely be relegated to storage as I become involved in others almost exclusively. So no, at this time I don't see myself buying another slot solely for the purpose of buying another slot.

Well, depends on the price, actually... 99 cents, I might splurge just for the sake of the added storage. $25.99, no, likely not.

Hmm... what would people pay for an extra slot? That seems like a highly relevant question here...

I'd probably buy a slot or two to hoard things, if they're not too expensive.

i think the correct price for slots should be 10$. for that price i'll buy a couple with ease... i just want to have 1 pve char for each profession and 1 account only

Seeing as I already have 2 empty slots... probably not.

Although a bonus slot in a CE would not discourage me from purchasing it!

I'm talking about the storage at the Xunlai agents. My characters all store crafting items there, so I build up quite a pool. When a character needs new armor or wants to craft a weapon, they visit storage and pull out whatever they need. Just doing this, you run out of slots very quickly. That leaves no room to exchange runes, items, etc. It doesn't help that you can only store 250 of an item in a single slot, either.

all my slots are full (3 PvE and 1 PvP), with factions I will get an assassin and ritualist, but I still want to make a minion master but I don't got any spair slots, so YEEESS I will buy atleast 1 xtra slot

I have 3lvl 20's and I wanted a Ranger Back SO I just made one, I still would like a pvp slot (can't now) and when I merge Factions I will make a Rit and assn.

This still leaves me with out a pvp slot, mes, or ele. So if this was an option I would purchase more slots.

The problem with a second account is that anything that you've opened on one you'd have to open again.

So If I could add to my main account then I wouldn't mind a few more spots to try different things out.

Heh if the price was at 10$ I'd buy at least 2, any more than that, I'd figure I'll just save for the exta and buy a new account for 4 slots. Personally I'd rather be able pay like 200k or so in game for an extra row in storage.

Yes, I would be interested in the ability to purchase more storage at the Xunlai Agent. Say, 1-5pp per additional square or row or something?

I'm wondering if Guilds will get a Guild storage facility. You could store materials there for the guild to use.

In my opinion, you should have unlimited (or practicly unlimited) character slots. ANet is just screwing us. This way they force us to buy another GW Account, and maybe even another GW Factions Account too, in case you want to upgrade. This is plain rude, just because they want money, they make us suffer? :/ Laaaaame!

Well they have to pay for their servers some how. Seeing as they don't charge a monthly fee, and the game is only going to bring in high profits for so long....

At like $5 per slot or $10 for 3 I would for sure. I only have the one account, and I'm merging with Factions. Right now I have a spare slot open but I still have a lot of ideas I want to try and Factions will only multiply my combinations to try
