Most General, All-around Armor

Ok well seeing as how getting FOW armor is a big commitment in terms of you probably wont' be switching to a different armor much, I'd like to see what everyone considers to be the best general all around armor. I can see how platemail has it's advantages but I think I'll probably get Glad armor because the energy is needed in a lot of builds. Anyone want to tell me what type of FOW armor they got and why?

I see gladiators used a lot. However only platemail or gladiators armor I buy is the 15k variety. I'm superficial about armors. I admit it. XD

Glads from citadel is my favorite or platemail from Grotto! or is it the other way around??

What I plan on doing (if I can ever get the ectos/shards) is:
same helm I have now -- love the look of FoW helm, but want +1 to weapon, not str. or tactics
keep my current stonefits gauntlets
FoW ascalon boots for damage reduction
FoW glads chest
FoW glads legs

I can't stand the look of 1.5 or 15k glads. I want my armor to be just that - armor. That's why I have platemail now. However, as war. FoW armor is one of the best looking armors in the game, imo, this is no longer an issue, and I can go after that energy.

but if I ever get around to duoing the UW again ill go like this:
Regular Ascalon Helm for the damage reduction
Glads rest ofcourse.

Ascalon boots w/ sup absorb
glads or plate leggings and chest w/ sup vigor on chest (depending on skills and location)
glads/plate/stonefist gauntlets (1 for each weapon class)
strength or tactics helm

It's got to be FoW Gladiators and FoW Ascalon Boots or Gloves.

If you only get one set of armor, than Glad's is the way to go. (with a piece of ascalon of course)

hmmmm.....I dont know....Ention has full Glad's but I'm starting to rethink it. Especially since the ascalon does give a little bit of dmg redux....I'm gonna say Ascalon helm, Platemail boots&gloves, and the rest gladiator(?)
