hydra farming
lhurgrokoyv
w/me hydra farmer
jus a hydra farmer i been usin lately, it can take about 9-14 hydras at a time, but killing goes a little bit slow
if you have any comments on this build that would be nice
mantra of flame
gladiators defense
doylak signet
healing signet
ether feast
watch yourself
riposte
deadly riposte
10+4 tactics, 11+1 strength, 10 inspiration
heres how it works:
aggro some hydras with mantra of flame on
try to dodge a meteor or two, then hit doylak signet if you cant
use ether feast right away, and start attacking when they get close to build adrenaline to spam riposte and watch yourself
once all the infernos and fireballs have been used up feel free to use glads defense
keep spamming everything including your heals until they drop
hydra drops are disappointing 80% of the time but that other 20% is usually really nice

Murder In China
Mantra of Fire is shit compared to Elemental Resistance.
I wonder where else you can check for a thread on farming Hydras.

Flurry Riposte Deadly Riposte Watch Yourself Dolyak Signet Healing Hands {E} Balth Spirit Live Vicarously Max Tactics as much as you can. Recommend a Zealous Sword with a +5 Armour Pommel. Just make sure you use dolyak before the first meteor hits home. Only use Healing Hands when fighting 4+ hydras and are if your low on health. Other than that flurry will charge adren and also give you +10 per hit and put you in a stance for that in stance shield. Ive managed 8 hydras at once with this build. Never done more since its hard to find more than 6 in any one area at once. I only use 8 on Healing Prayers btw. lord_shar
I'm using this war/monk riposte build:
Strength 12 (11+1) Sword 11 (10+1) Tactics 12 (10+2) Skills: Hundred Blades, Watch Yourself, Dolyak Sig, Deadly Riposte, Riposte, Watchful Spirit, Healing Sig, Sprint Weapons: Zealous 14>50 sword or IDS Armor: I just use glads lol It seems to work pretty well. Hundred Blades serves as an AE-attack and speeds up hydra kills considerably with both raw damage and plenty of adrenelin to fuel ripostes + watch-yourself. Murder In China

Did you consider my post a threat or an insult? Because it doesn't sound like it. Or do I have to tell people to use my old Avatar? chessyang

Murder In China
It contributed to this thread. I lead him to another link where he can get ideas. Don't assume for others.

I only use 8 on Healing Prayers btw. BEAUTIFUL! Farmed Hydras today with this, since it's the only build on this thread of which I already had all the skills... And it worked like a charm. Just ALWAYS spam every skill as soon as it comes up (seriously, except the maintained enchants and healing hands, perhaps), and don't even look at the hydras. I took on 6+ hyrdas, 2 forgotten hammers, and a forgotten bow (who had Throw Dirt) at once, no problems. The bow even followed me around for a long time, since I couldn't kill him, and I owned the hydras without even seeing them ^_^ Props to you, man.
