Final Say about Appearance Changes?

Do we get to change our characters appearance to another existing form of a tyrian face / hair style / hair color / skin color or from Tyrian - Canthan style features?

I dont think anyone can answer you. Im not even sure if the devs know atm.

Gaile mentioned something about changing hair dyes in Factions, but don't know if it was anything concrete. Guess we won't know until we have the game.

and damn right too, how stupid would that be?...changing your characters hair style and colour, even clothes and armour sure!... but physically change your face?...

cmon guys, dont be ridiculous....

Anyways yeah I'm sure the answer is a no since they're using the same answers as the "mythical" auction system they've been telling us about since umm... GW:P was released lol

What I believe is that we'll be able to change our hair style and color, but for a price. That price would most likely be in gold/platinum, not Faction points. It's still up in the air, but this is what is generally expected. It's just ridiculous to be able to change your character's core appearance, such as gender, height, face style, and skin tone. But most likely we'll be able to redo hair styles and colors.

Lol yeah the community just gave up on asking for that to be changed or something At least, here they do. I just don't understand, they're very quick to fix things, organise big events that require a lot of work like wintersday, but the biggest flaw that almost everyone has a problem with, trading/auctioning hasn't even been touched. The pessimist in me says that the appearance changing is going the same way.

Im pretty sure Gaile said stuff like that would come after factions is released, because it is an extra feature, just like auction house and other stuff that they said they wanted to add.

this stuff would probably come out a bit after factions has been out.

But there's a very high chance it will be released, because within the next chapters, people are really going to want to change their appearance on existing characters. I, myself, would be angry if I wasent able to do so. So I believe it will come soon.

But back to the topic, I support the change of hair style and the hair colour.

Yeah just as rediculous as, say...throwing fireballs, raising the dead or being trasported to a private isle from anywhere in the world instantly, etc... Its a freaking fantasy world and ANYTHING can happen in it if the devs so wish it.

Doing a full body makeover would just be another ingame goldsink. If the develpers wanted to make it difficult then they could do a wide variety of things, such as only x number of full makeovers per whatever time slot they wished or having to do a repeatable quest with a time limit etc..

Do i think they should offer something like that? Depends on what they did and if they are going to actually make the avatar bodies really changeable ala city of heros.

Anyway not aimed at the person i quoted but at the general statement of "thats not realistic" in all its varied forms.
