Crafter weapons improved
Dr Strangelove
Has anyone else ever wondered why you can't craft shields or caster main-handed weapons from the weapon crafters in town? Seems a little silly to make people go to collectors or buy the other half of their set. Was I the only one who had my character running around with a nice focus and crappy wand with my first character only to follow it up with a collectors from Kryta? (Which I held on to until the fire islands... I loved that sucker). Shields, staves and wands from the weapons crafters please!

Hmm, I think it's not that bad how it is, you have quest reward items that usualy have quite nice stats, you have greens which also don't have bad stats. You have collector items that can be found nearly everywhere, with some time spent getting what you need(farming/buying), and weapon crafters.
One thing I'd like to see is a 20/20 insperation collector staff, but save that you can find almost anything you need with greens, collectors, and crafters. Might take alittle longer to shop around, but that's part of the game.
www.guildwiki.org has a nice list of collectors by the way.

According to him, I usually just stick with Collectors, greens, and gold drops from farming runs, but he's correct, they should add some in, IMO.
