I Have A Dream

I have a dream that someday the same game developers that gave the enemy mobs an increased AI which allows them to run out of AoE at a moments noticed will actually link those abilities to the henchies that somer of us take with us.

I have a dream that someday the level designers of Guild Wars will fix terrain such that a character does not fall through a bridge that he/she is crossing, losing perspective on what he/she is currently doing.

I have a dream that someday the henchies that we all know and love will learn that standing in lava is a bad thing to do.

I have a dream that someday the henchies will call their rez targets so that they don't pile up on the same body.

I have a dream that someday henchie healers will not run out into the middle of multiple un-aggro'd mobs in order to rez a body when the rest of the party is hanging back.

I have a dream that skills which say that take 1/4 second casting time will not take more than a second to blink before actually casting frequently.

I have a dream that henchies will not periodically stop while following the PC's in order to get their bearings, causing them to lag farther and farther behind as the party travels.

I have a dream that, just like every PC is usually told to do, every single henchie that is not a healer will bring either a rez signet.

I have a dream that items designated for someone that is still in the mission/zone will not become unassigned for looters.

I have a dream that if a party is in an hour-long or more mission/elite area and a party member drops, some form of henchie/AI/reconnect will replace him/her so that the party doers not have to start over.

I have a dream that instead of having two teams developing the next two money-makers, that maybe one team develops the next money-maker and another team fixes the current one.

I have a dream that if a player is doing a long mission with henchies and lags out that the player will have a chance to reconnect and 'casually' continue to play the 'casual' game.

Well, so much for dreams. I'm sure people actually consider my post to be a nightmare. Anyone else out there have dreams for this game?

Most of these things have been a hot topic many times before so I am not really suprised to see any of them.

I have a dream than game prices would drop, as well as remove monthly fees.

Have you ever pinged the map or even started typing a command to the henchmen, the stupidasses? I have.

#2: this has been a problem since gw came live, i don't think its fixable, or is that anet is lazy? anyway dont see it being fixed anytime soon.

#3#4#5: all good points that need fixing, AI needs tweaking.

#6: this is a major problem for me, how is it a Enchanted Bow(Ranger) can land Concussion Shot(1/2 cast + flight time) on Healing Hands(1/4 cast), could Enchanted Bows have precognition?, rofl i don't think so.

#7: i really thought anet fixed this problem, it seems they lag behind much more then they once did?, mabye its broken.

#10: my dream too heh, i think anet are actially aware of "leavers" and are perhaps implementing something to stop that.


Anyway these are some of the most common problems in GW, i would hate to think of how many bugs there are "under the hood" on the things that we don't actially see like calculations etc.

I have a dream, that one day, my forum posters will read stickies, like, "Not all threads belong in Riverside Inn." And they will post them in appropriate places, like Sardelac, or not even make them at all since these topics have been covered extensively there. Closed.
