ok i made this thread outa boredom to talk about unpopular but cool looking skins for items..

My vote goes to the gladius skin.. It has been my experience that people hate this skin. and its a hard sell with any type of mod on it.. but if you look at it..

Damn it looks like the sword link used in the legend of zelda.. i say dye it blue and rock it!!!!

Gladius is my favorite sword skin for female warriors. Anything much bigger looks retarded when they are swinging it.

Yeah, Gladius gets my vote. It's just a "pure" looking sword. Nothing more, nothing less.

Green chalice with a glowing white eye on top fire icon (titan drop)

Magmas shield... don't see many of those myself. Animated lava oozing out of the mouth is very cool

Medusa head curses icon. Wish the snakes moved...

That's all I can think of for cool but unpopular

Almost everyone of those are "extremely" popular. Unfortunately, they are very expensive as well. That's why most people don't thave them.

I'm a fan of falchions, they just look so sexy! Imho much better than for example a fellblade or shadow blade, in terms of looks.

I hate the eternal bow too to be honest it's just too plain (same goes for eternal shield)

I've got to put my vote in for the Battlepick too. During a Tombs run, a white battlepick dropped for a guy, and he responds that the battlepick is the worst weapon in the game. I wanted to finish Tombs, so I didn't say anything.

Uh I agree it is nice, just a bit short :P

Also, the droknar crafter has a longsword with the gladius skin, it is 15>50 req.9 and only needs 5plat and some materials.

Then again I love my 15>50 flamberge that I never paid a dime for, because I got it WITHOUT farming.

For shields I like the Tall shield, and Shield of the wing (same skin as Malignon).

and the Willcrusher is pretty nice too.

Gold chaos axes catch my eye,

Collector's Axe for me. It looks different from the PvP crappy axes and I'm happy with that.

I'm kind of a picky person. I won't use a Fellblade on a Wammo but I'll use it on my Necro/Warrior.

As for armor, my Wammos has a regular Tower Shield which I need to upgrade from. My armor is like this:

Platemail helm with Knights Chest and Rest Platemail
or
Amnoon Oasis Collector's Helm (for swords, set from Pre Sear Collectors skin) with Knights Chest and Rest Platemail, with the subsitution of my Platemail Gauntlets of Sup Axe to Gauntlets of Sup Swords.

And he's all dyed silver. White Knight ftw, heh
