where are the most common places for crystaline swords to drop plzz ty dirk ?

Chests that use no keys? Forgive my n00bishness regarding FoW/UW, but how do you open them then? Are they just, like, free???

I'm always quite surprised at how many people still don't know about this. anyway, there are chest that appear in FoW or UW when you finish a quest, those chest dont' require a key to open and will generally drop 1 item (Could be anything)

there are other chest qithout keys though, it is also possible to ket crystalline sword on the kilroy stonekin quest in SF as they also spawn some chest that can drop anything.

What is a crystaline sword? Is there something special about it?

OMFGZ, Crystallines are n00b pwnz0rs and are so l33t. Dude, it's like it's name, a crystal. Ever heard of the search button even if it's down you can use Google Images. God, the way you ask you probably couldn't even afford a non-max dmg one with crappy stats.

Hmm, can't afford a max damage weapon even though i own 3 gold bows, 2 firery dragon swords (1 max) and an icy dragon sword. I am also in the proccess of buying 15k grotto armor. :P

just having a weapon that is gold max damage is nothing to commend yourself about.

Well no offense but 3 gold bows, an FD and IDS, and on your way to 15k armor is a bit away from a Crystalline.

am i just oddly unlucky or do the unlocked chests in UW only give you purple items?

They only give purple. I've never seen a gold come out of them, and I've been there way too much.
