Pre Sear Arena?
Wretchman Drake
I was wondering if anyone else would also like the idea of a Pre Sear arena. I know there's one before you go thru searing but that one takes forever to wait for, and you get henchies alot because not everyone is going thru searing at the same time.
I was just thinking it would be kind of fun to actually have PvP in Pre Sear, and do some of the arenas perhaps in a cleaner form or the same, since it is before searing?
I would love to go to Pre Sear arena. It would draw some players to go in there just because it's fair and simple for the most part. No max armor or greens. Plus, it would help beginners right off the bat for some PvP experience rather than going in the sear Ascalon Arena where it's overtaken by vets with droks and greens and elites.

/signed,
but i guess there will be a lot of people that has bored them to death with reaching lv.20 there, that arena should be divided into lv.1-10 and lv.11-20!
maybe 2 arenas, the low lv in ascalon and the high lv in fort ranik....

OOh, Ft. Ranik, very nice. I say expand some PvP Territory in Pre Sear to help with beginners and old players who are bored of sear.

But since there's about 10 skills available to each player, there'd be no variety and very little skill involved.
But whatever..

Also the PvP that takes you into the post searing does just that meaning you can return to pre unless you make a new character. This way you could return to pre searing quests when your done with PvP.

At least you won't have the Drok Armor and Elite skills Griefers..... but whats the level cap, 7?

Probably would be 10 like the Ascalon Arena.

Winterclaw
/signed only because pre-searing ascalon has one of the most beautiful areas in GW and if they add it to pre searing, it'll be an arena type in post searing.

i think they should have a 1-10 arena, 11-15 arena and a 16-20 arena
they could be located at
1-10 arena=ascalon it could be the post searing ascalon arena before it was destroyed
11-15 arena=could be next to barradins estate
16-20 arena= could be at fort ranik

Make it like the snowball fights from Wintersday. All players have the same health, energy and armor. regardless of level. The skills are set dependent on your primary profession only - that way those that haven't selected a secondary are just as competitive.
Also instead of the level separation, make one Random parties of 4, and the other Team parties of 4.
I really enjoyed the snowball fights.

/signed on some of the ideas in this thread (not the lvl cap)
I have usually metioned this idea in some anti post-ascalon/droks armor threads

Level limit should be 7, too many people that spend a long time in Pre-searing, saw a level 13 in pre-searing a few weeks ago. Imagine how long it took him to get to level 13, I mean the Charr are only level 5-7, at level 12 he'd get 8 experience each kill.

There are LVL 10 Charr Bosses in Northlands, making lvl 16-17 fairly easy to reach (by saving quests, and killing those)
And why exclude such grindloving players
