Trolls using unguents in Maguuma?

I was doing a primary in the wilderness. lo and behold we bump into some trolls.
When injured they used troll ungent to heal themselves. Does anybody besides me think this a bit weird?

Let me explain why I think this Strange.
(1) First let us Define an ungent or unguent, this is usually some topical ointment used on injuries.

(2) In Guild wars we ranger primarys use "troll unguent" as our primary form of healing unless you are a monk 2ndry...
Why did the makers of guild wars call it "TROLL" unguent?I will tell u why because everyone knows that trolls have the natural abillity to regenerate rapidly, similar to a lizard who looses its tail and then regrows it over time.
ie troll unguent is some form of ointment that contains some troll "ingredient"(maby an organ, hormone or something) that gives the person applying the unguent tempory regen abilities.

Ok so here is my problem...If a troll has natural regen abilities WHY ARE THEY USING TROLL UNGUENT WHICH CONTAINS TROLL INGRIEDIENTS...
That is like Canabalism's little sister. Almost like making clones and harvesting them for organs... I Protest. I want To go on Record that i think this is an outrage.
The programers of Guildwars or who ever is maintainging the Game Should correct this oversite and apologise to the Trolls immediatly.

I would like to hear your opinions on this sensitive issue... I say Nerf it.
Rangers can use unguents Trolls must use there inborn regen abillites instead of doin random acts of canabalism's little sister.

Nope don't think it's werid... a bit hard to farm them but i think it's cool they can heal them self.....

Not everyone lives by the modern 'civilized' moral code. They are trolls, after all.

well, change it to 'troll Healing' just the name lol....
i mean, its only a name....
the ranger skill dosent actually 'say' its made from 100% all natural Troll Parts, right?
i think its just named such like op said, because the trolld heal naturally (unless u whack em with fire...so why is it that if you hit them with fire magic, firey swords or similar, they stll heal fast..sheesh)

I think it's because they wanted the Trolls to have that natural regen from which our ranger unguent is derived, and for some reason they didn't want to give them a monster-only skill for it (like they've done for so many in Factions). It would have been cool, though, for the trolls to have a monster-only skill which would have been the predecessor to our Troll Unguent.

Maybe it's called Troll Unguent, not because it's made from troll parts, but because rangers learned how to make it from friendly trolls.

Man, it should honestly be called Wolverine Urgent....he regenerates much faster then Trolls.

Exactly what Aeon said. Ever notice that lvl 28+ monsters are constantly healing even when they are not using any skills and are bing attacked.

Hey, I had an idea. What if we gave all the trolls in the cave outside droks troll unguent? That would be a real kick in the teeth to the bot farmers.

I would cut open humans and use their organs to heal myself if it would work.

Did you ever notice that Dismember doesn't actually lop off a limb? I think that is an outrage and demand that Anet change it so monks lose an arm and whatever item they are holding and if a staff it becomes only 1/2 as effective!

Exactly my thoughts here. Why don't trolls naturally regen? They're freaken easy to kill. They should get something.

Yeah but the point is that Trolls self regen without applying anything (this is common knowledge) Like lizardman in spiderman comics.
Sharkfin soup is not made by sharks but is made from shark fins....
Think of troll unguent as Asian medicine made from tiger body parts like tiger claws for insomnia or tiger brains to cure laziness...similar concept except troll unguent really works.

thats a nice idea or they could just rename the skill when used by trolls..instead of making it a monster only skill. but i like Aeon221 idea best give them base regen...

Well, for trolls in D&D and D&D-inspired works, yeah, but that's not inherent to the word "troll" or anything.

I agree, though, that GW trolls ought to have natural regen instead of using unguent. I was just being silly when I suggested it's unguent-made-by-trolls.

And does the fact that the thing that makes the troll's "unguet" for us rangers may do that naturally for the troll while the troll is still functioning properly?
