What kind of monk is used on QF?

Hello, what kind of Monk is used in a Queen farming group?.. I tryed the stickys and found nothing, and i tryed screach but it dident work (it allmost never do-.-) Also i could use a little info about this whole Queen farming stuff, but i mainly need the monk info..

Edit: also any1 know around what the drop rate for the Green is? like how many runs would be needed to get one staff on avarge?

use whatever you are comfortable with. Boon/prot works well, martyr works well, straight heal works well...you would probably have a harder time with a bonder.

All in all it is pretty straight forward. You go in to the desert, kill the scarab patrols (aviod thier well of profane and traps + virulence at all costs), and then try to lure the queen out of the middle of her nest so she is easy to kill by herself.

You will need at least 1 other competent person to go with you. IMO it is more fun to do it as a 2 person team. If you go as a 3 person team, take a good warrior tank and one other person (can be MM, Nuker, Dom mes, IW mesmer, any kind of ranger...whatever you want). I do not like going with a MM because their minions don't survive well enough to be worth the trouble.

You will need someone to pull the enchants off the queen.

So a boon prot with:
RoF - Gaurdian - Ment condition - manrta of Recall - CoP - Drain Enchantment - D Boon - Rebirth
would do the shot.. Now most ppl on Europe dists do it with Tank - Nuker - Monk - MM.. (as far as i have seen ppl spam in town).
Also as far as a 2 man farm then i dont think i can monk good enough to do it as a 2 man farm xD.. But thanks alot ..

that build would work fine. IMO a 4-person team is overkill, and like I said before I think that a MM is pretty worthless. The minions tend to get killed off by traps, vamp touch, and what not, so unless you know the MM and s/he is really good, you are better off without them.

2-person is not too bad. I have done it with a boon/prot and a crazy mesmer (me), and I didn't bring anything for armor buffs.

Here is my ideal team
Monk (any kind)
Warrior (with decent damge and stances)
Mesmer (IW, blackout, shatter enchant, drain enchant, clumsiness...) <--anything that can do consistent damage that is not killed by gaurdian will work fine here.

I don't know what the drop rate is, but if the staff is your ultimate goal, it would really be more efficient to farm somewhere else and just buy the staff (I think it is down to 3-5k)...

If you want to try and get the staff to drop I would suggest to go to town and advertise that you want to do it with a 3 person team, you will probably get more invites than if you say looking for 4 people...I also had great luck finding a team, playing as monk and as mesmer, when I went looking for a 2-person team, but only try that after you get the basics down with a larger team.
