Fool Proof Hydra Farming Build

Does Watch Yourself! add armor against inferno and such? Or is it there to compensate for the physical armor lost due to elemental resistance? I like this build I'll have to try it out =} Good that they haven't nerfed hydras yet lol. Since I hate to leave ele secondary profession, I'll also be working on a W/E version. Great job Knido!

The remaining skills can be anything you want depending what your other class is.

Basically I can aggro an "UNLIMITED" amount of Hydras. Not only does it kill fast but I stay alive throughout the whole process. If you have a warrior as primary/secondary you may use dolyak or something to counteract the meteor which knocks you down.

yes, WY is universal armor against all damagel, so it helps for both ele and physical damage

and i never really liked using more secondary prof skills than my primary prof

I like to use 12+3+1 Tactics and 12+1 strength, but sometimes i put some in swordsmanship for fun, but dont use a sword that has a very high req, and the sword should be zealous

I didnt have enough cash to buy all those skills for your build ,so i just made do with what i had ,and it turned out to be very fun and effective .I used this skillset :



I replaced elemental resistance with mantra of fire ,which really helped getting me energy ,I didnt need ViM ,the signet worked fine .The biggest mob i could handle was of 5 hydras ,and it was fairly easy (except that i almost died cuz of lag)This is the first time that I've successfully been able to farm hydras ,and bear in mind ,its teh first time im using a build which uses tactics
I urge anyone to follow this build ,because its really fun as its very tactical (i don't mean the attribute) and requires skill for mobs of 5+ .

In 1 hour i got 16 blues ,6 purples and 17 dessicated hydra claws ,no golds .So at teh end of it i got a purple fds and made 4 k ,this is my first time and i made 4 k !! Thank you for giving me ideas on how to farm here ,i owe you a lot .

i tried the epidemic, sever artery, and gash build thing. it worked quite well, but i tried to take on 11 hydras and got spiked before i got any conditons on them. I even tried 10 with knido's build and i got spiked to death again

**edit** still tryn to get it down to only 3 skills, but this shows you only need dolyak for defense

but heres my normal non-challenging fast killing build

16 tactics
15 strength

riposte
deadly riposte
auspicious parry
Drunken blow
desperation blow
Dolyak signet
healing signet
sprint

kills them super fast, can spam riposte alot cus of auspicious and the extra blows to apply conditions and do more damage

Erm I having trouble with this... ViM just doesn't seem like a reliable way to heal myself... I used epidemic and that provided nice healing, but only getting healed once every 15 seconds is not keeping me alive... I'm taking too much damage in that time, even with ele resistance, dolyak, and watch yourself and I cant stay alive long enough... very frustrating.

you shouldnt be taking that much damage at all, how many are you aggroing at one time, cause a large aggro can overcome your armor and vim anyway.
