I used to play much GW when it was new, I had an Elementalist and I became pretty rich, by farming runes, I made quite alot and soon enough I had enough money for a 60k set of armor.
Then I quited playing GW for, hmm lets see, 9 months, something like that.
I started over some days ago, as a necromancer. however the situation has changed, not just a little bit. runes can be bought for ridiculous prices etc. i even saw someone WTS sigil for 13k, they used to go for 70k.
so tell me, how can i make money like i did before? is there another way to make money, so i can get my 60k armor set for my necro??
How to make money?

First off, I would stick with using the 1.5k armor from Droknor's Forge. Also what character are you planning on farming with your necromancer, your elementalist, warrior, etc with alittle more information you could get more information on a palce to farm. Also please note many changes have occured such as:
Monsters now flee from most aoe damage skills/spells that hits 2 or more times in under 3 seconds. I really think this is the main point that will hurt you if you farm with an elementalist.
The introduction of Sorrows Furnace which was planted between the zones Snake Dance and Granite Citadel. This zone also introduced green items (unique items) which are droped by specific bosses in specific zones which are Grenth's Footprints and Sorrow's Furnace.
The Introduction of PvE Tombs (they moved the old tombs to their new home in the Battle isles and reavated the tombs into a pve instanced zone. This was the second zone to introduce Green Items.
The April Skill balances also brought a hefty sting to the once proud Desert griffins as AN introduced New Scarabs and their queen. Luckily this queen can drop a very nice green protection staff.
Then of course there is the always popular farming with a 55 health super monk or 55 health Super Necromancer farmer.
Anyways welcome back to guild wars.
