I have been searching for a good build on this site, but I so far have not found anything very useful. My character is a fire elementalist and I want to balance out the fire magic with illusion magic. Here is my current build, I think it sucks.

Fire: 14 (+1 head armor, +1 rune)
Enegy storage: 9
Illusion magic: 7

Fireball
Meteor Shower
Flame Burst
Conjure Phantasm
Aura of Restoration
Glyth of Lesser Energy
Arcane Echo
Resurrect Signet

Please tell me if you know any good builds for an E/Me. Also, if you find any good builds in other forums, please give me the URL address! Thanks

Presumably PvE, Fire in PvP is...you aren't doing it, right?

Well...
Flame Burst = PBAoE, if I remember correctly. A big no-no if you're not solofarming.

I'm a PvE Pyromancer and i'm sorry to say that I have found there to be almost no room for any mesmer skills in the skillbar. This build is probably one you've seen before, but it is in my opinion the best way for an elementalist to utilize any trace of the mesmer abilities. It's kind of similar to dinocroc's, but without the illusion in it.

Energy Storage: 12

Arcane Echo
Metoer Shower
Flame Burst/Inferno
Rodgort's Invocation
Immolate
Fireball
Flame Attunement/Elemental Attunement
Rez Sign/Glyph of Elemental Power/Capture Sign

In later parts of the game the echo nuker build is invaluable against large groups of strong enemies or even a single powerful enemy. However, don't even think about taking this into pvp or solo farming.

There's little point in investing in two different direct-harm (damage or degen) attributes.

Just focus on fire damage and/or burning, and energy management to throw as many spells as possible.

Plus, of course, various forms of defense if you like. And anti-interrupt.
