pvpers who use -5 energy items use the offhand from cities of ascalon (-2 energy) and a -5 energy axe or sword, the reason for the cities of ascalon quest reward is that it has a 3 energy base (without meeting req) and -5 energy so it has an overall negative 2 energy rather then 6 base energy (without meeting req) and -5 wich is +1 energy and they want the least possible energy. Imo this is merch food but maybe a couple plat
