Critique My SS Build, Please

Hello again, i'm now in the process of making a Spiteful Spirit build, and i'm looking for some creative critism as i've never made one before. I looked at a friend's build outline for his 2 man SS and critiqued it using the skill list on this site, thanks for any and all opinions on how to make the build better ^_^

haha jk i personally like the build, but if i were u i would fit awaken the blood in there, have scar armor instead, put in desecrate enchants, and use villnar's glove too

#5. If I have energy issues then i'll deffinately use scar, I just...honestly...don't like the way the scars look. Desecrate enchants will deffinately be added, depending upon where I am going, especially in the harder areas. I forgot to say this build is mainly a starter, for me to use to practice and then expand upon. Vilnar's Glove...hm...I dunno. I may decide to use it, but I kinda think that the chance for more energy / health or improved casting / recharge times would work out better. If nothing else I can always get one and use it in another weapon set. Thanks for all the suggestions ^.^

12+4 curses
10 inspiration or illusion ( whichever powers SV)
7+1 blood
rest in soul reaping
Villnar's Glove with 20% recharge collector wand
scar armor
1. Awaken the Blood
2. Arcane Echo
3. Spiteful Spirit
4. Sympathetic Visage
5. Suffering
6. Signet of Weariness
7. Blood Ritual
8. Res Sig

If this is for 2-person UW, here's some tips:
Drop Awaken the Blood or Mark of Pain and put in Desecrate Enchantments.
Desecrate is pretty much a must, it will deal moderate AoE damage even if your target has no enchantment. Awaken the Blood is overkill, you'll find the mobs die quickly enough with 16 curses, making the +2 irrevalent.
And MoP is also overkill, since SS x2 will kill off the enemies just fine. Suffering and Desecrate Enchantments serve as backups in case you need additional damage. Plus MoP only triggers on physical damage, and in UW no one's really dealing physical damage unless the Monk swings his/her sword or axe at the called foe.
Overall, it looks great, the attributes are perfect. But I'd suggest removing MoP and Awaken the Blood, and putting in Desecrate Enchantments, and then some other skill of your choice (I highly suggest Distortion, in the case of an aggro breach).

Get rid of Distortion for Awaken the Blood, you won't be under attack if the monk knows what to do.

Do you think the extra +2 Curses and +2 Blood is useful with such a high amount in both attributes? I mean over the security?

Awaken the Blood > Distortion in UW, because you won't get attacked at all in UW if the monk knows what he/she's doing

I love how no one mentioned the only reason not to bring mark of pain. It was a great skill, and should be in UW builds, but now it causes AoE scatter, which is deadly in a 2man group. Yes, like firestorm, mark of pain has been filed under the "never use me in pve" category since the aoe nerf.

Mark of Pain actually limits the effectiveness of SS as mentioned above.
I would also add spinal shivers to the list of skills. I find it invaluable.

I was only asking because it seems that if you are casting SS... then MoP would never get triggered unless a party member attacked. So for the classic 55 Mo build... MoP would never get triggered.
Aside from the scattering (which yes couneracts SS), this is even more reason to not waste a skill slot on MoP.

He means that as long as you stand still when you have aggro on you, the aggro will never shift and thus the necro will never get attacked.
