The same thing happened when Chapter 1 was released... When I was playing pre-sear, I was like "Well this might be fun during study breaks"
When I got to post, I changed that to "Well, repeating those classes might not be so bad..."

The solution's not too hard, just manage your time well, if you're aiming to play. Study first, play later, or if you're gifted and can cram in extremely small amounts of time, make sure that you at least give yourself enough time to do that. Factions is nice but it can wait a week

I'm on the other end of the spectrum here. I wish Factions had come a little earlier, as I won't get to play much since it waited until my new quarter of classes started to really pick up steam.

A week earlier and I'd have been able to play 24-7 for a while before worrying about work to be done.

Ap tests are THE WEEK AFTER THAT.

Finals aren't for another month and they don't matter much anyway.

Yeah I feel ya buddy. Finals for me are first week of May. Im intentionaly not buying Factions until after i finish because i just know it will be one of those "just 5 more minutes" situations.

Yea, AP Exams might be the week after that, but a perfectionist's gotta start studying early

. I'm sure I'll find some time to devote to Guild Wars. On the positive side it gives me something great to do after exams are over

It's probably a conspiracy, the creators of the exams actually own ArenaNet. They release the game to determine who are the real brainy ones. With the gamers farming away for their Cantha armor out of the way, the smart ones will prevail!

With that out of my system, good luck on the exams and have fun with Factions when you do get to play it.

My education is a tad important if I am really going to get that degree in electrical engineering. I probably wont end up getting factions until after my last final, and even then I probably wont ba able to play it until I get home. I suppose I can wait a week... Consider yourselves lucky, I'll be able to start playing factions in the last week of June, for a mere 2 weeks. After that its another 11 week layoff with 1 week of game time. Followed by another 7 week layoff, after that I'm free to play as much as I like for a month or two. Though I'd say Chapter 3 would be coming close to release if Anets 6month expansion thing goes to plan.

I remember going and buying pre-order and then my friend and I both went "o crap." My finals are May 5 and then I have to see the GF before she leaves for home for most of the summer. lol I wont get to play until like 2 or 3 weeks after it comes out!

i share the pain ..i even think i am going to have to wait until my final exams /final project and final report are done before buying factions,if i decided to buy it.I know if i buy it on the release date i would be palying GW instead of reading my books,hell i am even typing here instead of typing for assignments due tomorrow..arghhh..why am i doing this to my self???i dont know...

Well, I'm in Year 10 (English - that'll be 9th Grade American, right?), and I just had my 'year exams'... but I have a Drama GCSE module and a big production that I'm in in the weeks either side of the release...

I just discovered...the Monday after the weekend following Factions' release, is May Day! Bank Holiday! Yehaaa!
